Leah McBride Mensching is a journalist covering life in the Midwest. Over the past 15 years she has been a reporter, editor, blogger, photographer and editorial manager. Raised in Iowa, Leah loves exploring issues in and about the heartland (but feels a bit awkward writing about herself in the third person).
